The Retreat

This traditional Savoyard detached farmhouse, nestled in the tranquil hamlet of Le Lavanchy in Montriond, offers a unique blend of Alpine charm and modern comfort, making it the perfect retreat for up to 15 guests. Situated just 1.2km from the village center and close to the stunning Lac Montriond, this beautifully restored farmhouse, dating back to 1887, provides an exceptional escape for families or groups seeking an authentic mountain experience.

Spread across three spacious levels, the farmhouse features seven en-suite bedrooms, each thoughtfully designed to combine coziness with practicality. Four bedrooms can be configured as king-size or twin beds, and one of these also includes a comfortable sofa bed, accommodating an extra guest. The two middle-floor bedrooms share a private balcony with picturesque valley views, while the top-floor master bedroom offers an en-suite sanctuary with a king-size bed.

The heart of the chalet is its expansive lounge and dining area, complete with rustic wooden beams and a striking central stone-and-glass fireplace. This space is perfect for gathering after a day of skiing or hiking, sharing stories, and enjoying hearty meals around the large dining table. The adjoining kitchen blends rustic charm with modern functionality, offering ample space and state-of-the-art appliances to create mountain feasts.
